Anwar Ratol vs Chaunsa vs Sindhri — Which Pakistani Mango Is Best?.
Three of Pakistan's greatest mangoes, side by side. Aroma, sweetness, texture and the right one for you — settled by people who grow all three.

It is the friendliest argument in the country: which Pakistani mango is the best? We grow all six major varieties, so we will not pretend to be neutral — but we can be precise. Here is how the three most-requested mangoes actually compare.
Anwar Ratol — the aroma champion
Small, sometimes barely the size of an egg, the Anwar Ratol packs the most concentrated flavour of any Pakistani mango. The aroma fills a room before you cut it; the flesh is ultra-creamy and completely fibreless. In blind tastings it is frequently ranked the single best eating mango in the world. Best for: purists who want intensity over size. Season: late June–July.
Chaunsa — the King of Mangoes
If Anwar Ratol wins on intensity, Chaunsa wins on balance. Honey-sweet with a whisper of tang, buttery and melting, fibreless, and forgiving to ship because it holds its shape. It is the most popular Pakistani mango worldwide for good reason. Best for: everyone — the safe, glorious default, and the longest season (mid-June–August).
Sindhri — the early, dependable giant
Sindhri is the first mango of the season and the largest of the three. GI-protected and grown in the Sindh desert, it has excellent flavour, a firm texture and a long shelf life — it holds for three to four days at room temperature, which makes it the easiest to ship and store. Best for: early-season cravings and anyone who wants fruit that keeps. Season: late April–early July.
